Key functions of membership in clubs and associations are networking, communication and the open exchange of experiences among specialist colleagues, as well as the representation of common interests towards third parties. These memberships benefit all participants since they drive developments and help realise interdisciplinary synergies.

The Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall (DWA) is the voice in Germany for all interdisciplinary water matters, and dedicates itself intensively to the development of safe and sustainable water management.

GEOkomm

Verband der Geoinformationswirtschaft Berlin Brandenburg e.V. – the geoinformation industry as a growing sector offers innovative products and services. The Berlin and Brandenburg capital region distinguishes itself here with an outstanding research environment and numerous companies. GEOkomm represents the industry and initiates innovation networks as well as international cooperation agreements.

Bitkom e.V.

Bitkom is Germany’s digital association. Founded in 1999 as a consortium of various industry associations in Berlin, we represent more than 2,300 companies in the digital economy, including 1,000 SMEs, 300 start-ups and nearly all global players. 

Österreichischer Wasser- und Abfallwirtschaftsverband

The Österreichische Wasser- und Abfallwirtschaftsverband (ÖWAV) is a non-profit association. It views itself as an independent advocate for achieving the sustainability objectives of the water, wastewater and waste management industry in Austria, and represents Austria’s collective water and wastewater management industry.

Institut für Rohrleitungsbau Oldenburg e.V.

The Institut für Rohrleitungsbau is your contact for research and development, individual consulting, material testing, national and international projects, student support and sponsoring, and the realisation of continuing education events.

Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V.

The DVGW is the technical-scientific association of the gas and water industries. Since more than 150 years, the association has been setting technical standards for a safe and reliable gas and water supply. It promotes and actively supports the exchange of ideas and information in the gas and water sectors, and motivates further developments in these fields with assistance of practical relevance.

Verband Deutscher Vermessungsingenieure e.V.

The VDV is the professional and sociopolitical representative of its members at the regional, national and European levels. It participates in the structural design of the survey and geoinformation sector and promotes the professional further development of its members.

Norddeutsches Wasserzentrum e.V.

The Norddeutsche Wasserzentrum (NWZ) is a registered association with the mission of serving as the forum and exchange of the entire water sector. This includes bringing the various disciplines and interests together in order to help resolve conflicts and master water management projects (also abroad).

Verband Schweizer Abwasser- und Gewässerschutzfachleute (VSA)

The VSA is the leading Swiss association for water protection and the further development of sustainable, integrated water management. We are also the generalists for all questions related to water.
