For the specialised wastewater field, PIETS supports the professional review and editing of ISYBAU data to ensure the error-free import of data into sewer databases. PIETS is divided into four functional modules:

With the ISYBAU XML Wizard, you can import or export data exchange files in the new ISYBAU XML format in BaSYS.

The ISYBAU Import Wizard lets you import information in ISYBAU XML files, complete or filtered, into the BaSYS database. The wizard lists the data collectives of the ISYBAU XML file according to the catalogue of identifiers or actual data, letting you choose the data you want to import. When condition data collectives are imported, the import wizard gives you the option of adding the base data recorded during the inspection as source data. Element-specific documents and photos can be linked automatically.

The ISYBAU Export Wizard delivers ISYBAU XML-compliant files from BaSYS with the information of the database that is currently selected. Here the data for an entire municipality or specific properties can be exported. In a subsequent step, one can choose which data collectives with what contents are to be exported to the XML file. General information and comments can be added to the respective collectives here.

The following data collectives are intended for import/export:

  • Source data with and without rehabilitation data
  • Condition data
  • Hydraulics data
  • Operation unit data
  • Cost data and metadata

With the ASCII import interface, all data for which an equivalent data field exists in BaSYS can be imported from an ASCII file.

The import is performed based on template definitions in the form of XML files. Template definitions are included in the scope of delivery for the import of sewer source data (sewer segments, manholes, service pipes) with the corresponding coordinates and geometries, as well as water line source data (pipe and node source data, fittings) with the corresponding pipe and node geometries. Individual import definitions can be created and administered based on these template definitions. The data structure of the ASCII file to be read can be transferred to the import definition step by step at the push of a button.

Rule and system-compliant data imports can be carried out through replacement functions. The subsequent adaptation of these data fields is eliminated. Default values can be set in the import definitions and taken into account in the import for each data field to be read. A selective import is also assured by applying a filter to the data being read. We offer more complex template definitions tailored to your specifications as a service.
